P E R S O N A L I T Y First Impression: Wow, she's got spunk. Overview: Lexus is the typical class clown. She loves to be the center of attention, loves to make people laugh, and lives for the thrill of shocking people. People often say there's just something magnetic about her, but she likes to call it her Southern charm. Though her actions can sometimes be considered inappropriate, she usually acts with the best of intentions, and people are usually too busy laughing to really get angry at her. An eye-roll here, a bat of the eyelashes there, and a well placed kissy face can soften the heart of her harshest critics. Frank, honest, and always trying to make light of even the most dire situations, it's hard to get Sexxy Lexxy (with a double "x") down. A girl of great courage, Lexx has a powerful take-charge attitude. The one thing she never wants to be is a spectator on the sidelines of life. Fortunately, she has the boundless energy to match. She has the ability to be enthusiastic about practically anything, and she's usually very adept at adapting to situations. She is not easily dissuaded from taking a course of action once she has decided upon it, and she will do everything in her power to get what she wants. Her clever sense of decisiveness is one of her best traits, and it is one of the things that people cite most often as what they like about her. Due to her forceful personality, Lexx does have some serious character flaws. Her drive and determination for getting whatever she sets her heart on tends to make her selfish, and people who don't understand that she's genuinely well meaning sometimes see her as egocentric. She is a fast decision maker, and she does not always choose correctly; she has a tendency to go for that which is fastest rather than that which is most appropriate or promising. The voices and opinions on other people are sometimes lost on her, giving her a reputation for carelessness when it comes to other people's feelings and a cruel streak when it comes to interpersonal relationships. Some would even describe her as outwardly combative, always being oversensitive to any criticism or suggestion that she should think things through. Still, while her hot temper can be a problem, her charisma gives her the skill to gloss over most of her ills. With these thoughts in mind, it is easy to see why Lexus was misdiagnosed with Histrionic Personality Disorder (HPD). People with HPD generally act very emotional and dramatic in order to get attention, and symptoms include acting or looking overly seductive, being easily influenced by other people's perceived judgments, being overly concerned with their looks, being overly dramatic and emotional, being overly sensitive to criticism or disapproval, believing that relationships are more intimate than they actually are, blaming failure or disappointment on others, constantly seeking reassurance or approval, having a low tolerance for frustration or delayed gratification, needing to be the center of attention, or quickly changing emotions, which may seem shallow to others. While she does fit into a classic case of HPD, this disorder is believed to have manifested as a form of PTSD; she has never spoken about the abuse from her father that is the route cause to a professional.

H I S T O R Y Lexxy's a girl who's come a long way in a short amount of time, and she knows it. Born in Lafayette, Louisiana, to an unwed, gold-digging mother, Lexus learned early on that life can just as easily be spent traveling as it can rooted in one place. She bounced around as an unwanted, unexpected burden on her mother for several years before her mom married a Lafayette hotel manager when she was eight. For the most part, Lexx felt left out and ignored, and she began acting out. Despite urgings from her teachers to get her tested for behavioral problems her parents continued to ignore the repeated notes home from school. By the time she was eleven her mother had had enough and up and left, leaving her with her stepfather. While they had never really been enemies, the two of them began having problems when he decided to start sleeping with her when she was 13. Displaced by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Lexx moved from Louisiana to Connecticut and didn't find the situation there any better. She was immensely popular at school but was, again, unable to behave properly. The school psychologist had her tested for ADD, but the diagnosis came back as HPD as she refused to talk about the abuse going on in her life. As such a personality disorder had no treatment her instructors were told to adjust as best they could to her. All seemed well in that regard; she was the top of the bottom third of students, and she always got recognition in class; for once, the plan worked. Unwanted attention, though, was still a problem. Her stepfather got a job in a hotel up north, meaning they'd be staying, and began pimping her out on the side to his friends to make a little extra cash. By the age of sixteen she had more than had it, and she decided to make some positive change in her life by running away. With nothing more than the clothes on her back and her fake ID in her pocket, Lexxy hopped on a bus and traveled as far as it would take her. Long story short, she could afford a one-way ticket to Chicago, and she leaped at the chance. It was something new, something completely different. It wasn't until she arrived in Chicago that she realized that she may have oversimplified the matter. Being poor and homeless was definitely not what she had planned on. After answering an advertisement she found in a newspaper, Lexus found her calling: roller derby. She signed on with a local Chicago team as an equipment girl. It wasn't long before she found herself a reserve player for the team, and once she made her debut as a blocker she was hooked. Though it didn't pay it quickly became the most fun she'd ever had, and having a group of rough, fun-loving friends who were almost sisters was just the type of camaraderie she'd been longing for. Not only did roller derby afford her a good time, but it also allowed her to work off frustrations and provided her with a steady place to stay. She spent a whole year living on the sofas of her teammates, moving here and there with what little she managed to collect. With life moving forward and the reality of the economy, however, it's becoming quickly apparent that she's running out of sofas. While refusing to hang up her skates, Lexx has realized that she needs to find a real job, get a place to live more permanently, and start wearing the big-girl pants. After all, seventeen is the new twenty-five.

E T C • Lexx shares a birthday with Harry Houdini, only his date of birth was a lie. • When people ask where she is from she will always respond with "Connecticut." While it is partially correct, she more prefers watching their reaction to hearing someone with that thick an accent say they're from the East Coast. • She has never paid for any of her piercings. • On the bright side, Aries are adventurous and energetic, pioneering and courageous, enthusiastic and confident, and dynamic and quick-witted. On the dark side, they are selfish and quick-tempered, impulsive and impatient, and foolhardy and daredevil. • Her secret favorite musician is Katy Perry, and her favorite song is "Waking Up In Vegas." From a young age she dreamed of one day running away to Vegas to get married, and she still finds the idea romantic. • Lexus is a decent Catholic; she goes to church on Christmas and Easter, and she prays when things aren't going her way. • Upon transferring to school in Connecticut her Freshman year of high school she joined the drama club and was cast in the club's production of Rent as Mimi. It took many weeks of training to subdue her Cajun accent for the part. • She enjoys acting and feels that she can sing moderately well. Dancing, however, is not one of her strong suits. She's a little too rough for the grace that it requires. • Though she is only 17, Lexx passes herself off as 21; she refuses to reveal her real age to anyone, and she has false documents to back up the age on the fake ID. • The first time she slept with a boy around her own age was in the prop closet on top of a larger than life plastic cow. She describes the experience as "a mess." • She really is named after a car. Lexus is not short for anything, including Alexis. Her mother liked the word an awful lot and had always wanted to own one of the cars but had a daughter instead whom she decided to name after what she really wanted. • Lexxy plays on the roller derby team "Deranged Diamond Dolls." She is a blocker, her derby nickname is D'Amanda Kiss, and her number is 22. Her uniform is a pink, vinyl, nurse's uniform with thigh high pink and black striped stockings and black skates with pink wheels.
